Jose Mourinho, the renowned football manager and self-proclaimed “Special One,” has ventured into the world of fine wines with the launch of his own brand, aptly named The Special One. Announced via Instagram, the former Chelsea and Real Madrid manager introduced his latest endeavor in a sleek and charismatic video that combines his love for football, Portugal, and high-quality craftsmanship.
The wine’s name is a nod to Mourinho’s famous 2004 press conference when he declared, “Please don’t call me arrogant, but I’m European champion, and I think I’m a special one,” following his move to Chelsea after winning the Champions League with Porto.
In the video, the 61-year-old Mourinho is seen tasting the wine, delivering lines with the confidence that has defined his career:
